Bar/Pub

We introduce three types bars: the former mainstream, present mainstream, and non-mainstream beyond times.

A former mainstream:

It is a very tiny bar that can usually accommodate less than 10 diners. There were a bunch of tiny bars along the alley called Yokocho. They were everywhere in Tokyo in the past, but recently they are on the endangered list. They are vanishing from the alleys year by year due to the fact that the buildings built many years ago don't meet Japanese Building Standards Act.

If you want to know more about Yokocho's charm, click here.

A present mainstream:

It is a common bar where everybody can afford items. It is called Izakaya.

A non-mainstream:

The bars are in a red-light district, which is usually a little bit away from a main commercial area, but not too far from there. There are sex service shops close to bars, while the owners or bartenders are rich in life experience and there are some bars offering unique service to make diners fun.
